Parodontitis is the most common reason for tooth loss with adults. It is about a bacterial related infectious disease of periodontium. Not only are affected the gums but the whole periodonal apparatus either.
If parodontitis is not treated, the teeth can get loose and might drop. However, we are able to stop and heal gum diseases.
Even seriously damaged gum and jaw-bones can be reversed by therapies grafting and structuring the jaw-bone and the gums in the majority of cases.
